Day Warehouse Receiving Supervisor

About the role

This is a hands-on, working first shift supervisor position at Loffredo Fresh Foods, a local, family-owned food and produce distributor with 5 locations serving 11 different states.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to warehouse employees as necessary to ensure work is completed and resources are used properly
• Assist with shipping/receiving, loading and unloading of trucks, and checking-in merchandise
• Maintain a safe and accessible warehouse environment for company personnel and LFF visitors
• Read and interpret pick tickets, requisitions, and maintain food safety practices
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 75 lbs., reaching, kneeling, crawling, bending, and stooping

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2-4 years of related experience
• Previous Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience required
• Previous warehouse supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret company documents, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Must obtain licensure to operate warehouse equipment within 30 days of hire

Qualifications

• Self-directed individual capable of operating warehouse equipment safely and following all safety guidelines

$47,500 - $50,500

Schedule

Working: Tuesday - Saturday
Off: Sunday & Monday
