Day Warehouse Manager

Inbound Receiving

• Maintain the receiving schedule
• Ensure proper use of automated tools (ReceiveRight, etc)
• Update of IDS inventory

Cycle Counts & Inventory Management

• Daily cycle counts
• Review of out of stocks
• Inventory discrepancy reports
• Inventory transfers between buildings
• Review of item movement for re-slotting
• Warehouse upkeep (housekeeping) and product rotation

Personnel Management

• New hire orientation and training
• Performance evaluations
• Disciplinary actions and write-ups
• Terminations

Operational Goals

• Eliminate overtime
• Eliminate loss of product due to improper handling and product expiration
• Ensure maximum fill rate by ensuring fully restocked pick slots

Policy Development & Enforcement

• Develops and enforces policy and procedures
• Communicate problems, issues, and concerns to Day Operations Manager

Qualifications

• Personnel management skills/supervisory skills
• Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, etc)
• Basic First Aid skills, including CPR
• Forklift certification
• Basic mechanical skills
• Communication skills
