Responsibilities
- Participate in shipping, receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, rotation, check-in, repacking, and security of products.
- Familiar with the expectation of proper rotation of all products during receiving, replenishment, picking, repacking, and returns activities.
- Learn to utilize the eoStar operating systems and its components.
- Participate in the removal of shrink wrap from all picking pallets.
- Able to safely operate a forklift.
Warehouse Duties
- Maintain credible and equitable standards established by Supervisor.
- Shared responsibility in the control of damage and minimizing loss.
- Ensure that rows are stocked at appropriate levels.
- Participate in practical application of safety and maintenance polices as they apply to company operations.
- Keep warehouse clean and ensure that all trash is picked up.
- Move and change product locations as needed.
- Keep pick areas stocked and with proper signage.
- Ensure that all equipment is fully charged for the next shift.
- Participate with weekly inventories (or as needed).

- Adhere to all applicable Federal, state, and local regulations regarding the warehousing of alcoholic beverages.
- Does not abuse equipment and maintain company property such as company vehicles and equipment.

- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in all areas of responsibility to ensure quality of work.

Requirements
- Qualifications and Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift; previous experience is a plus.
- General understanding of warehouse logistics and material handling.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time (including bending, reaching, lifting, pulling, etc.).
- Ability to operate forklift, electric pallet jack, squeeze, blade, and scissor lift.
- Ability to understand and demonstrate knowledge of warehouse lay-out, product location set-up, and rotation of product.
- Basic computer skills and ability to utilize warehouse specific tools to track inventory.
- Familiar with night shift order selecting activities.
- Understand team dynamics and demonstrate productive communication skills through work history.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, other governmental agencies, and the public, as appropriate.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Understand and effectively communicate Summit Beverage's organizational mission and goals.
Physical and Other Requirements
- Seeing: Must be able to read bin location labels, product descriptions, read off tablet and handheld devices 75-100% of the time.
- Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with fellow employees, hear voice pick commands and horn/alarms while in warehouse. 75-100% of the time.
- Standing/Walking: 75-100% of the time.
- Sitting at desk/while driving: 0-24% of the time.
- Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 25-49% of the time.
- Lifting/Pushing/Pulling: Lift approximately 35-55lbs repeatedly. Occasionally up to 165lb. kegs. 75-100% of time.
- Grasping/Feeling/Hand Dexterity: 75-100% of the time.
- Driving and Travel: 0-24% of time.
Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold, extreme heat wet and/or humid conditions while working outside of the warehouse, but on Summit campus.
- Employees are exposed to continual movement and vibration while using powered industrial equipment.
- The employee consistently works near moving mechanical equipment.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Pay
$17.00 per hour
