Job Description

Responsibilities

• Utilize a variety of tools, including MS Excel and JBLC slotting tools, to evaluate slotting locations.
• Assign pick locations for new items for optimal picking and replenishment, considering balancing work load across multiple work zones.
• Use slotting strategies for all new product releases, including limited releases, seasonal products, and historical sales patterns.
• Analyze historical and forecast data to determine product placement for existing items to optimize worker productivity.
• Generate Moves List for items requiring location changes based on sales and JBLC slotting tools.
• Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and all warehouse employees to implement creative and innovative slotting strategies, including slot capacities, location accuracy, and safety concerns.
• Assign and maintain permanent locations and capacities in the WMS.
• Dynamically slot products using company tools to decrease pick times and replenishment activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager on an as-needed basis.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Must have and demonstrate proficiency in operating a pallet jack and forklift equipment.
• Must have Microsoft Office proficiencies, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Must have experience using a WMS (Warehouse Management System).
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with all levels of an organization.
• Must be able to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Must have exceptional organization skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
