Day Shift Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and triage based on medical needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes including hospice palliative medicine when applicable.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide direct patient care including administering medications, performing venipuncture, and managing medical documentation.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in case management activities to coordinate care across multiple services.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure is required.
• Experience in triage, outpatient care, or hospital settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices is essential.
• Experience in diagnostic evaluation or case management is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are necessary.
