About the role

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hospitalist to join the inpatient medicine team at AdventHealth Daytona Beach. This is a full-time, employed day‑shift opportunity offering a consistent 7 on / 7 off block schedule with 12‑hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., totaling 182 shifts annually. You will join a collaborative hospitalist team supported by strong specialty coverage, experienced leadership, advanced technology, and the resources of a large integrated health system.

Responsibilities

• Work day‑shift only (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.) on a 7 on / 7 off block schedule.
• Provide inpatient medicine care using Epic EMR.
• Perform procedures only if desired (no procedures required).
• Collaborate with specialty teams, APPs, and nursing staff.
• Contribute to a mission‑driven, whole‑person care culture.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain.
• Active DEA license.
