About the role

Seniors at Home, a leading provider of innovative home health care, seeks an entry-level Home Health Aide position with significant growth potential. This role involves direct work with frail patients, requiring patience, compassion, and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct, individualized care in a structured day program environment
• Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene
• Supporting therapeutic exercises and activities as guided by on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapists
• Administering medications under the supervision of an on-site Registered Nurse (RN)
• Observing and reporting changes in patients' conditions to RNs or therapists
• Promoting a safe and supportive environment, reporting any potential safety concerns
• Accurately documenting patient care and activity as required
• Performing additional duties based on individual care plans or team direction

Requirements

This role requires a highly professional, personable individual who can thrive both independently and as part of a team. No prior experience is necessary, but a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a compassionate nature are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is helpful but not required.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is flexible and can accommodate your needs. Shifts typically run from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
