About the role
The overall administration and clinical operation of the program, including all activities related to the daily operations of a day program setting. Responsibilities include managing staff, overseeing budgets, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing support to individuals served.
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage the activities of the program staff and relief staff.
- Involvement in the hiring, scheduling, training, and evaluating staff.
- Conduct regular staff meetings.
- Ensure staff is trained on all necessary plans, procedures, and practices.
- Oversee all activities relative to the daily management of the program.
- Develop, implement, review, and train staff on clinical programs.
- Serve as liaison between residential and day programs to ensure integration of clinical services.
- Provide outreach and create environments for family, friends, and established relationships of the person served.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years’ experience in human services.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field is preferred.
- Driving is a requirement for this position using either a Vinfen van or personal vehicle.
- Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid US driver's license, and pass a driver's screening background check.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crawling, climbing, lifting up to 25 pounds, operating a computer, and assisting clients with tasks of daily living.
Qualifications
- CPR, First Aid, MAP, and Safety Care certifications required within specified periods after hire.
- NET certification required.
Pay
USD $56,228.43 - USD $56,228.43 /Yr.
