Day Program Counselor

About the role

We are seeking Day Program Counselors and Direct Support Professionals to join our team. Our mission is to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through meaningful activities and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support and encourage independence in all aspects of daily life.
• Collaborate with your team to plan, create and assist with activities and opportunities to meet the needs and interests of the people you support.
• Provide any necessary direct personal care to the people we support.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• NYS Driver's License in good standing (some sites require this).
• At least 18 years old and capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
