Day Program Coach

Responsibilities

• Support persons with developmental disabilities at various community sites
• Mentorship and facilitation of activities for participants in community day services
• Engage individuals in active treatment throughout programming hours
• Advocate on behalf of all program participants
• Provide direct training delivery in areas including recreational pursuits and independent living skills
• Maintain interdisciplinary communication and case notes for each individual

Qualifications

• Aceessory degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Rehabilitation, or a related field preferred
• A combination high school diploma/GED and at least 1 year of Experience Working With People With Disabilities Will Be Considered
• DSP certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license required
