Day Program Instructor

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in the development and implementation of individualized program goals.
• Plan and facilitate community-based activities that align with participant interests and choices.
• Support participants in developing daily living, social, and vocational skills.
• Provide personal care assistance as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and program records.
• Work collaboratively with team members, families, and other support professionals.
• Promote participant independence, dignity, and community inclusion.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of an Associate's Degree, with a Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Previous experience working with individuals with physical and developmental disabilities preferred.
• Eligibility for New Jersey Department of Education certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Pass all required background and employment screenings.
