Key Responsibilities
- Aid in the development and implementation of individualized program goals.
- Plan and facilitate community-based activities that align with participant interests and choices.
- Support participants in developing daily living, social, and vocational skills.
- Provide personal care assistance as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and program records.
- Work collaboratively with team members, families, and other support professionals.
- Promote participant independence, dignity, and community inclusion.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of an Associate's Degree, with a Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Previous experience working with individuals with physical and developmental disabilities preferred.
- Eligibility for New Jersey Department of Education certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Pass all required background and employment screenings.
