Day Laborer

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt | Temporary (On Call) role with daily pay.

About the Role

As a Day Laborer, you will perform a variety of general labor tasks, both indoors and outdoors. The role involves assisting with basic construction, moving and unloading product, and cleanup. A broad range of skills is beneficial for this position.

Responsibilities

• Carefully unpackage equipment and machines, ensuring all components are intact and accounted for.
• Remove packaging materials and other trash from the building, placing them in designated dumpsters.
• Stage and unpackage electronics required for machines, preparing them for installation.
• Assist in pulling and setting up power to machine locations, ensuring proper connectivity.
• Perform general installation and assembly duties, following provided instructions and ensuring correct setup.

Requirements

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of electronics and power setups.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
• Good communication skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 pounds).
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and manual labor tasks.
• Use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in installation or assembly roles is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of tools.

Work Environment

The role is performed in a casino construction environment. Expect exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
