DAY HABILITATION SPECIALIST- (Direct Support Professional)

Minimum Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED
• A valid NYS driver’s license with at least 1 year of driving experience
• 3 - 5 years of experience in roles such as Day Habilitation Specialist, Paraprofessional, Lead Teacher, Teacher’s Aide, or Home Health Aide
• Preferred experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Comfortable operating an agency vehicle (caravan)
• A smartphone required

Preferred Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of driving experience
• Experience with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities
• A valid NYS driver’s license
