Day Habilitation Coordinator

About the role

Join Habilitation Assistance Corporation as our Day Habilitation Coordinator and help adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities build skills, confidence, and community connections. You’ll lead a supportive team, create engaging activities, and make every day purposeful.

Responsibilities

• Lead a supportive team of professionals and volunteers
• Create and implement engaging activities tailored to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities
• Support the personal growth and social integration of participants
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
• Collaborate with other professionals to develop comprehensive support plans
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor progress and adjust activities accordingly

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities
• Strong leadership, creativity, and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred, but not required

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of developmental disabilities and best practices in support services
• Experience working with diverse populations

Pay

$48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year

Schedule

Full-time, Monday-Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch for a total of 40 hours per week.
