Day Care Worker 26-27 SY

About the role

This position will assist in implementing childcare programs and ensuring that each child is well cared for and safe. Routine care for infants and children in an instructional setting will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing childcare programs
• Ensure safety and well-being of children
• Provide routine care for infants and children
• Work with groups of children in a positive manner
• Follow verbal and written instructions
• Perform additional or specific duties as assigned by the Day Care Director

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Complete annual training, including first aid and CPR
• Able to read and verbally communicate with children, staff, and parents
• Able to work with groups of children in a positive manner
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions
• Effective organizational and communication skills
• Able to relate to children and adults with courtesy, respect, acceptance, compassion, and patience
• Some experience in an infant/childcare setting preferred

Pay

The salary range for this position is $12.50 - $14.00 per hour.
