Duties/Responsibilities
- Typical plant breeding activities including hybridization, chromosome manipulation, propagation, progeny evaluation
- Genetic analysis activities including DNA fingerprinting, cytometry, DNA fingerprinting
Preferred Qualifications
- Possess, or be in advanced pursuit of, a graduate degree (MS or PhD) in a field directly related to plant breeding and/or plant genetic research
- Experience working with propagation, hybridization, maintenance, and trait evaluation of crop plants of interest
- Strong communications and presentation skills
