About the role
Provide comprehensive flight training in various aircraft types including private, instrument, commercial, sport, and multi-engine ratings. Offer both ground and flight instruction, and assist with flight reviews and certifications.
Responsibilities
- Teach students the fundamentals of aviation, including theory, navigation, and emergency procedures.
- Prepare students for FAA certification exams, including PPL, IR, CPL, and CFI ratings.
- Assist students in obtaining their Private Pilot License (PPL), Instrument Rating (IR), Commercial Pilot License (CPL), and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) ratings.
- Offer personalized training and checkride preparation for advanced ratings and endorsements.
- Ensure all training sessions adhere to FAA regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
- A valid U.S. Private Pilot License (PPL) and Instrument Rating (IR).
- Experience teaching aviation subjects to students at various skill levels.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and industry best practices.
- Passing an aviation background check.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience.
- Completion of a recognized flight instructor course.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
