DataStage Technical lead

About the role

Responsible for leading and managing DataStage projects, ensuring high-quality development and integration of DataStage features including Transformations, aggregations, and mappings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain DataStage jobs and workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data processing solutions.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines and quality standards.
• Optimize DataStage processes for scalability and efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Requirements

• At least 7+ years of development experience in DataStage, specifically with DataStage 11.7 version.
• Hands-on experience with DataStage transformations, aggregations, and mapping implementations.
• Experience working on data warehouse projects and integrating DataStage with other applications.
• Experience configuring clustered and distributed environments.
• Strong background in SQL and Unix file system management.
• Experience with web services and API development.
• Experience with job scheduling tools such as Autosys/Control M.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Professional certifications in DataStage or similar technologies are a plus.

Skills

• DataStage 11.7 proficiency.

• SQL query optimization.
• Autosys/Control M job scheduling.
