Datalink Engineer
About the role
As a Datalink Engineer at Booz Allen, you will use your electrical engineering skills to design and develop future technologies within the datalink discipline. You will work with existing teams to understand current challenges and collaborate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to develop and integrate upgrades that improve the warfighters' competitive edge.
Responsibilities
- Transform Mission Systems requirements into improved datalink performance across various platforms.
- Collaborate with OEMs to enhance system integrations and designs, ensuring compatibility and ease of integration.
- Assist in augmenting designs and algorithms to optimize system performance and reduce integration complexity.
- Work closely with a team of engineers to modify designs and improve system integrations, focusing on enhancing warfighter capabilities.
Requirements
- Experience in datalink systems
- Knowledge of systems integration challenges
- Ability to work effectively with a team of engineers
- Secret clearance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific field
- Top Secret clearance preferred
- Master's degree in a scientific field
Skills
- Experience with modern Navy datalink systems
- Experience with the SETR process
- Knowledge of datalink compliance testing, including NCTSI
- Understanding of contracting mechanisms and CDRL reporting
- Ability to analyze datalink designs and provide technical inputs to improve performance and integration

The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).
