Job Requirements

The Database Engineer will:

• Direct the development of complex systems using queries, tables, and database storage and retrieval using Cloud methodologies
• Create new workflows to take over existing processes as needed
• Assist in the development and implementation of database structures, database parser software, and database loading software
• Direct fulfillment of requirements from a project inception to conclusion

Required Skills

• SQL
• Python
• Experience using MongoDB and/or MariaDB
• Experience using Django or Flask ReST endpoint
• Experience with Micro services

Desired Skills

• AWS, C2S or other cloud experience
• Docker
• Visual Studio Code or similar IDEs
• JSON and/or XML serialization
• Jira Confluence
• Git version control
• Agile

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required
• 5 years of DBE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
• 10 years’ experience as a DBE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required

Pay

The proposed salary range for this position in Maryland is $150,000 to $220,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
