Database Developer (Depot)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops ETL processes for seamless data flow.
• Utilizes SQL, VBA for Access, Python, and other programming languages for development, optimization, and scripting.
• Provides SQL Server Database engineering expertise to support recommendations, designs, development, integration, testing, troubleshooting, installations, configurations, maintenance, and documentation.
• Develops business software solutions to automate company workflow and tasks.
• Participates in and implements feedback from code reviews.
• Identifies and implements product/systems enhancements to improve tool appeal, process flow, and functionality.
• Works autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Achieves great team attitude and works comfortably with technical, business, and non-technical individuals.

Required Skills/Experience

• Knowledge and understanding of Access database development using linked SQL Server tables, unbound forms, VBA code, DAO/ADO.
• Core Technical Stacks: AWS Cloud Engineering (CMDB), PostgreSQL (AWS RDS), Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AWS (ECS, EC2, ECR, ALB, etc.), Terraform, Docker, AWS CodePipeline, SQL Database Engineering (MS Access/SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server, MS Access (Jet/ACE Engine), SQL, T-SQL, VBA).
• Significant experience developing business software solutions.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
• Travel Required: 0%.
• Work Location: San Diego, CA.
• Must have and maintain a Secret US DoD security clearance.

Paid Benefits

Compensation: $55.32 - $64.04 an hour. Compensation varies based on a range of factors including location, responsibilities, skill set, and experience.
