Database Administrator

Job Responsibilities

• Assisting with development of reports for DWR’s compliance with Phase 2 of EPA’s NPDES Electronic Reporting Rule (eRule)
• Serving as a technical program representative who can bridge the gap between IT partners and programmatic team on eRule projects
• Development of training materials and documentation for new and existing forms in MyTDEC Forms, e-reporting, mapping of data between systems, and data flows to DWR and EPA databases
• Providing outreach to both internal and external staff on training for all aspects of e-reporting and NPDES data management

Qualifications

• Very detail oriented and attentive to data quality
• Customer service skills important for providing support to both internal and external customers

Desired Skills

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Power BI and /or SAP Business Objects, Excel, and data verification
• Experience preparing data-driven reports
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting and compliance with federal rules
• Proficiency in developing in Python and SQL languages
