About the Role
Support and administer diverse database environments, including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL platforms, for critical enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
- Manage Oracle RDBMS environments, including Grid Infrastructure and Data Guard.
- Oversee database operations across multiple platforms, ensuring system reliability, performance, and data integrity.
- Perform backup, restore, and disaster recovery tasks using RMAN, snapshots, and archive logs.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to systems, databases, hardware, and networks.
- Create ad-hoc SQL queries for diagnostics and analysis.
- Maintain Linux OS and file systems, develop administrative scripts, and conduct server audits.
- Manage user accounts, ACLs, and support system changes while ensuring compliance with security and policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and participate in after-hours support as needed.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on expertise with Oracle infrastructure, cloud services, and Linux.
- Experience with database management, automation scripting, and AWS services.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- IT security experience within accredited environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Oracle Cloud Certification.
- Experience with PeopleSoft and geospatial products.
