The city of Las Vegas is accepting applications for Database Administrator. This position participates in the management, supervision and coordination of the programs and activities for effective administration and management of the Innovation and Technologies (IT) databases and systems within the City of Las Vegas; to coordinate assigned activities with other City departments and outside agencies; and to provide responsible and complex database administration to IT management. Training: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, management information systems or a closely related field. A combination of formal education and directly related work experience may substitute for the degree. The city assesses 1.5 years of fulltime experience as equivalent to one year of education.
