Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining and securing database systems.
- Setting up and managing cybersecurity measures.
- Updating and monitoring server hardware and software.
- Configuring and preserving database integrity.
- Identifying and resolving database performance issues.
- Conducting database capacity planning.
- Implementing and maintaining database monitoring tools.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Experience supporting databases in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Student Information System (SIS) experience required.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems like Microsoft SQL Server, ETL, and MySQL.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performance.
- Advanced understanding of enterprise applications and their dependencies.
- Excellent documentation habits and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with reporting groups across campus.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience supporting databases in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems, including Microsoft SQL Server, ETL, and MySQL.
