About the role
The Data Warehouse Implementation Associate Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all phases of client onboarding and data implementation for WTW’s Analytic Solutions Core offering (ACT Core solution). Acting as the central coordinator, this role facilitates communication and collaboration between WTW Client Service Teams (CSTs), clients, Cedar Gate/Data Warehouse Vendor (DWV), and carriers/data sources.
Responsibilities
- Ensures the accurate and timely completion of intake steps, contracting documents, data requests, and validation activities.
- Facilitates communication and collaboration between WTW Client Service Teams (CSTs), clients, Cedar Gate/Data Warehouse Vendor (DWV), and carriers/data sources.
- Bridges gaps between WTW and clients, carriers, and vendor partners during the implementation process.
- Guides clients from eligibility confirmation through ACT platform go-live, ensuring high-quality, timely implementations that enable strong analytics delivery and ongoing client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of employer health plans, including eligibility, medical and pharmacy claims, and healthcare plan management components.
- Experience working with account structures, hierarchies, and levels of aggregation.
- Comfortable interpreting data files, data quality reports, and validation outputs.
- Ability to manage and oversee negotiations of legal agreement requirements [Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), PHI forms, Data releases] with clients, carriers, and vendor partners.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts or healthcare analytics platforms (Cedar Gate experience is a strong plus).
- 3–7+ years of experience managing complex implementations, ideally in health & benefits, data analytics, or vendor onboarding, ideally gained in a benefit consulting/brokerage firm, commercial data warehouse company or reporting function of an insurance company.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple teams, clients, WTW, Client Service teams, carriers, and technical vendors.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a strong ability to track parallel workflows and dependencies.
- Skilled in managing deadlines, anticipating risks, and driving issues to resolution.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to guide clients and internal partners through detailed processes and requirements.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with a service-oriented mindset.
- Strong attention to detail and high accountability for accuracy in documentation and data-related processes.
- Ability to work independently while also serving as a cross-functional integrator.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with significant quantitative coursework.
- State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining.
