Data Warehouse Developer

Location: Madison, WI

About the role

You will be part of the Data Management Department supporting data integration and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and develop technical specifications for ETL processes
• Design and develop ETL jobs using various ETL tools, including Alteryx
• Develop different types of data loads such as incremental, full, and survivorship rules
• Implement change data capture (CDC) techniques to ensure data accuracy
• Test and debug ETL workflows to maintain high data quality and performance

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years experience in gathering requirements and developing technical specifications for ETL
• At least 2 years experience with ETL tools, preferably including Alteryx
• 6 years experience in developing various data load types and implementing change data capture
• 6 years experience in testing and debugging ETL processes
• Proficiency in developing complex SQL queries
