About the role

This is a 12-month contract position for a Data Warehouse Architect responsible for defining and implementing customer data governance processes during a SAP billing system rollout. The role involves working with SAP tower leads, Enterprise Data Governance, and cross-functional teams to design data architecture that supports analytics and value realization. Serves as a strategic architect in a transformation environment.

Responsibilities

• Define data requirements with SAP tower leads during blueprinting.
• Partner with Enterprise Data Governance to establish customer data governance processes.
• Collaborate with System Integrators, Business Integrators, and internal teams to align data architecture.
• Ensure governance standards are defined and implemented across customer domains.
• Support reporting and analytics alignment with SAP blueprinting.
• Expand governance efforts across customer domains within the first 90 days.
• Design, develop, document, and ensure quality of technical architecture for functional design.
• Coordinate design efforts of technical architects to ensure cohesive solutions.
• Strategically design and implement data warehouses, data marts, and data stores.
• Define data standards and models for warehouse architectures.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in data architecture or related field.
• SAP S/4HANA Utilities or IS-U functional foundation certification.
• Experience with enterprise data governance practices.
• Proven ability to design data warehouses, data marts, and data stores.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Stakeholder management experience.
• Adaptability in transformation environments.
• Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor.

Preferred Skills

• SAP Datasphere certification
• SAP Analytics Cloud certification
• CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional)

Pay

Up to $88 per hour W2, based on skill set and location.

Schedule

12-month contract.
