About the role

The role focuses on enhancing data governance, strengthening risk data aggregation, and improving data quality, with hands-on involvement across key data domains.

Responsibilities

• Enhance data governance and risk data aggregation
• Strengthen data quality through hands-on involvement
• Work with Databricks in a data governance or data quality context
• Collaborate with stakeholders across senior, technical, and non-technical audiences

Requirements

• Strong background as a Data Steward or Data Governance specialist
• Demonstrated experience with BCBS239, RDA/Risk reporting
• Hands-on understanding of data lineage, metadata management, and data quality frameworks
• Experience working with Databricks in a data governance or data quality context
• Financial services/banking experience required
• Familiarity with governance tools (Collibra, Informatica, Alation, etc.)
• Strong communication skills across senior, technical, and non-technical audiences

Benefits

• £450 per day
• Outside IR35
• Full time in Southern Europe or willing to travel to Europe 2-3 times a week (travel expenses paid for)
• 19 months contract (first phase of 7 months, 12 thereafter)
