About the role
The opportunity is to transform an organization's data management through effective data architecture solutions. As a data architect, you'll lead the design of data architecture solutions for cloud computing, managed services, and service-oriented architectures.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of data architecture solutions for cloud computing, managed services, and service-oriented architectures.
- Resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams.
- Work with project staff to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture development.
- Analyze data architecture-related business needs.
- Establish processes and facilitate technological innovation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity.
- Experience leading security architect, engineering, or enterprise data protection initiatives.
- Experience with data security platforms such as Virtru, PKWare, Thales, and encryption and key management technologies.
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana (ELK Stack).
- Experience conducting architecture reviews, threat modeling, risk assessments, and security control evaluations.
- Knowledge of data-centric security architectures such as data classification, encryption, tokenization, key management, and data lifecycle protection.
- Secret clearance.
- High school diploma or GED.
Qualifications
- Nice if you have: Experience architecting Zero Trust and enterprise data protection strategies aligned with federal cybersecurity initiatives; Experience integrating data security platforms with IAM, SIEM, SOAR, DLP, CASB, and cloud security solutions; Experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines; Experience mentoring engineering teams and providing technical leadership across multiple programs and stakeholders.

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Our work model supports collaboration and effective communication, with employees expected to have their cameras on during meetings. Depending on the position, work may be performed remotely, at a Booz Allen facility, or at a customer facility.
