About the role

This position requires a strong foundation in Python and experience with Docker and Kubernetes. With 3+ years of experience in Defensive Cyber Operations and 3+ years in Machine Learning techniques and statistical model evaluation, the candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an advanced degree, along with 8 years of experience. A Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred and will be considered in lieu of experience. The ideal candidate should also have experience with R or Python, SQL, and exposure to AWS, Cisco (CCNA), STIGs/IAVA, Big Data Platform (BDP), Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL), Windows, and Virtual environments. Additionally, they should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain end-to-end workflows/projects using Python, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Implement and manage machine learning models and statistical evaluations
  • Contribute to defensive cyber operations initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical problems
  • Utilize AWS, Cisco (CCNA), STIGs/IAVA, and Big Data Platform (BDP) tools and technologies
  • Work in a Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL) or Windows environment
  • Perform virtual environment management

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field preferred
  • Experience with R or Python, SQL, and data manipulation
  • Exposure to AWS, Cisco (CCNA), STIGs/IAVA, and Big Data Platform (BDP)
  • Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL) or Windows proficiency
  • Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills
