About the role

A Senior Data Scientist with a current TS/SCI w/ poly clearance is needed to support a critical program located in Annapolis Junction, MD. Relevant experience must include two or more of the following areas:

• Designing/implementing machine learning
• Data science
• Advanced analytical algorithms
• Programming (skill in at least one high-level language)
• Statistical analysis
• Data management
• Data mining
• Data modeling and assessment
• Artificial intelligence
• Software engineering

Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will:

• Design and implement machine learning solutions
• Develop advanced analytical algorithms
• Write and maintain code in high-level languages
• Analyze data using statistical methods
• Manage and clean data sets
• Extract insights from data through data mining techniques
• Create predictive models and assess their performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data science

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• At least 7 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or related fields
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling
• Experience with data management and data mining techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will also possess:

• TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
• Experience with artificial intelligence and software engineering

Pay

The target salary for this position is between $225k-$250k, depending on experience.
