Data Scientist (Exploitation Specialist Level-3) - NGA - WASH

About the role

We are looking for a Level-3 TS/SCI-cleared Data Scientist to join our team. This position is on a team working to improve GEOINT collection methods. We are looking for a self-starter who enjoys working on research style projects, can work with ambiguous problem definitions, and excels at developing creative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply machine learning algorithms to intelligence data
• Work on client site 40-hours a week in Springfield, Virginia
• Proficient with Python
• Knowledge of GEOINT collection and associated NGA/NRO systems
• Experience with JEMA or low side equivalents (ESRI Model Builder, Alteryx, Tableau Prep)
• Experience with activity-based intelligence (ABI)
• Experience with multi-INT data
• Ability to learn new technologies, adapt to dynamic mission needs, and develop/test new analytic methodologies
• Proficiency with common programming languages including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of related GEOINT work experience
• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field and two years of relevant experience
• Bachelor of Science + Masters of Science in STEM fields
• Able to work on client site 40-hours a week in Springfield, Virginia
