What You Will Do
- Perform data analysis and develop analytical solutions using tools such as Python, R, Snowflake, SQL, Databricks, Power BI, GIS, and other modern analytics platforms to address complex client business challenges.
- Partner with utility clients and Guidehouse subject matter experts to define business objectives, analytical approaches, technical requirements, and actionable recommendations.
- Design, develop, test, and implement data, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions that support utility clients' business objectives.
- Translate business needs into scalable analytical workflows, data products, dashboards, visualizations, and decision-support tools.
- Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, helping clients gain confidence in data-driven decisions.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline
- ONE (1) or more years of professional experience applying data analytics, business intelligence, data science, or related quantitative techniques to solve complex business problems
- Experience with analytical and data management tools such as Python, SQL, R, Databricks, Power BI, Tableau, GIS, or similar technologies.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets and developing analytical solutions from concept through implementation.
What Would Be Nice To Have
- Experience supporting electric, gas, water, or other energy-sector organizations.
- Strong communication and consulting skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts into business insights and recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating effectively with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with utility business functions such as customer programs, DERs, electrification, asset management, operations, regulatory planning.
- Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms, data engineering, AI, machine learning, geospatial analytics, or optimization techniques.
- Experience developing dashboards, data products, or decision-support applications for business users.
- Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment.
- Master's degree or relevant certifications in analytics, cloud technologies, or data engineering.
Pay
- The annual salary range for this position is $89,000.00-$148,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
