Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and presentations.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling. You will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, developing predictive models, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions.

Skills

While not required to perform the job, the following knowledge, skills, and abilities are desirable:

• Experience with big data platforms like Hadoop, Spark, or similar.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data processing environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) techniques.

Pay

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. The pay range for this position is $60 - $64/hour on W2.

Schedule

This is a contract position for 12 months.
