Data Reporting and Analytics Lead
Our client supports the Administrative Office of the US Courts in developing a modern cloud-based solution to serve all 204+ federal courts across the United States. This initiative modernizes case management through integrated data governance, engineering, reporting, analytics, and AI/ML capabilities to improve operational decision-making.
About the Opportunity
The Data Reporting and Analytics Lead will drive the delivery of advanced reporting, analytics, and AI/ML solutions that provide actionable insights and decision-support tools for users and stakeholders of the case management application. This role ensures that reporting and analytics capabilities meet federal compliance standards and directly support the program’s data objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and integration of dashboards, self-service reporting, and predictive analytics.
- Coordinate data replication and feeds for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor system performance to meet SLA response times and dashboard load targets.
- Promote user adoption of analytics tools.
- Collaborate with product owners, data engineers, and UX designers for seamless analytics integration.
- Translate requirements into report designs, semantic models, and reusable datasets.
- Build and optimize BI dashboards and reports.
- Implement and validate SQL logic and metric definitions.
- Work with Data Engineering to resolve data issues and enhance readiness.
- Apply visualization standards and ensure reporting consistency.
- Ensure compliance with privacy, access control, and data handling policies.
- Lead AI/ML solution design adhering to government compliance.
- Maintain an AI/ML Capability Register tracking all initiatives.
- Implement responsible AI/ML practices ensuring transparency and risk mitigation.
Requirements
- MA/MS degree with 12+ years of general experience and 10+ years specialized in information systems, or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and data transformations for large-scale analytical systems.
- Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience in analytical data models and semantic layers.
- Experience delivering reporting in regulated or high-sensitivity data environments.
Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $169,604 - $229,464. Salary will be set based on experience, location, and contractual requirements and could fall outside this range.
