Data Recovery Engineer - Macintosh and iOS Platforms

About the role

The Data Recovery Engineer will be responsible for recovering data from Macintosh and iOS devices. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience in IT / Desktop Support environments, familiarity with Apple products, and a passion for staying ahead of current and future technologies.

Responsibilities

• Recover data from damaged or lost Macintosh and iOS devices
• Provide technical support to customers over the phone
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Analyze and evaluate customer needs
• Prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• ACMT preferred, but not required
• 2–4 years experience in an IT / Help Desk / Desktop Support / Apple Genius / Apple Expert environment
• Familiarity with all native Apple applications
• Maintains knowledge of current technology
• Experience and understanding of computer hardware components for troubleshooting and upgrading purposes
• Demonstrated experience in information technology operations
• Familiarity with all Apple products including iPhone, iPad, and Time Capsule
• Using Terminal to complete tasks

Qualifications

• Average of 2–4 years of experience in IT / Desktop Support environments
• Passion for staying ahead of current and future technologies
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Great customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
