About the role

The data recovery technician's responsibilities are key to the overall customer experience as the group it works in performs many different functions to speed each job through the recovery process.

Responsibilities

  • Initial diagnosis of customer hard drives
  • Moving jobs to other groups
  • Backing up data
  • Managing data on servers
  • Other jobs related to the data recovery process

Requirements

  • A dedicated individual that can reliably come to work daily
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Competency with computers
  • Willingness to learn, and a desire to acquire new skills
  • Work independently as well as part of a team
  • Typing skills of at least 25+ words per minute

Qualifications

  • Associate/Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
