Job Summary

We are looking for a Data Product Analyst to own the end-to-end delivery of workflow digitization and data reporting initiatives. In this role, you will act as the crucial bridge between business stakeholders, data modelers, and data engineering teams. You will operate as a technical Product Analyst for backend data capabilities—translating complex business needs into actionable technical requirements, epics, and user stories for Data Engineers and Data Modelers. You will be responsible for defining acceptance criteria, enforcing data quality rules, ensuring solid relational data architecture, and prioritizing the team backlog using Agile and Kanban frameworks.

Requirements

  • Must-Have Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience: 2-8 years of experience in product ownership, technical business analysis, data modeling translation, or data-centric delivery roles.
  • Product Ownership Mindset: Proven ability to break down business goals into actionable user stories, data mapping specifications, and technical backlog items for engineering teams.
  • SQL & Relational Databases: Practical SQL querying skills and a strong foundational understanding of relational database concepts (RDBMS), schema design, and data structures.
  • Agile & Kanban Mastery: Hands-on experience driving work using Kanban boards, managing backlogs, and organizing deliverables within Jira.
  • Data Quality & Lineage: Hands-on experience defining data validation rules, data quality standards, and tracing end-to-end data lineage.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record of facilitating alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Nice-to-Have Experience
  • Experience with automated workflow tools, dashboarding platforms, or AI/ML workflow integration.
  • Agile/Scrum or Product Owner certifications (e.g., PSPO, CSPO).
