About the role

The Data Platform Lead is responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of the company’s data infrastructure, ensuring efficient data management and analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and implementation of scalable data platforms
• Manage data pipelines and ensure data quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions
• Develop and maintain data governance policies
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering or related field
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Proficient in Python, Java, or similar programming languages
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of data warehousing and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
