Data Modeler

About the role

The Data Modeler is responsible for designing, documenting, and maintaining data models that support the organization's analytical needs. This role requires a deep understanding of ECL and HPCC, along with experience in handling large volumes of structured and unstructured data.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience with ECL and HPCC (5 years minimum)
• Using analytic techniques and tools for technical targeting support across various spaces
• Maintaining and manipulating high-volume structured and unstructured data for analysis and reporting
• Developing and validating methodologies for supporting analytic requirements in Clustered Computing environments
• Supporting users directly through tickets and service desk interactions
• Ensuring system availability in critical operations

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with computer languages such as Python, C, and SQL for large-scale parallel processing
• Experience with high-volume data environments (structured & unstructured)
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across applications/systems
• Familiarity with system administration and application sustainment
• Experience working within SOP-driven environments (documentation, updates, compliance)

Qualifications

• Educational or practical experience in a STEM field
• Tier 1/2 support (incident response, troubleshooting, user support)
• System monitoring (message flow, failures, performance issues)

Skills

• Subject Matter Expert in ECL and HPCC
• Expertise in analytic techniques and tools
• Proficiency in computer languages for large-scale data processing
• Experience with high-volume data environments
