Responsibilities

• Ability to read and understand architectural drawings
• Submit 100% of bids and budgets by the bid deadline, no exceptions
• Follow up on estimates
• Provide pricing for change orders on awarded projects
• Make site visits on specific projects
• Submit bids daily
• Keep track of estimating on all submitted projects
• Auxiliary with phone coverage when needed
• Show creativity and resourcefulness to gain better pricing from vendors
• Must be a team player

Skills

• Must have basic computer skills
• Excellent client relationship skills
• Knowledge of aluminum glazing systems and their applications
• Strong geometry and math skills
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Ability to handle numerous projects, phones, prioritize workload and work with minimal supervision
• Knowledge and experience of custom door hardware
• Goal driven

Requirements

• Experience with GDS, AutoCad, Microsoft Office and estimating software
• Must be able to communicate effectively and conduct themselves professionally; Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Need to have good working knowledge of fabrication and installation in order to have good understanding of customer needs
• 2 plus years construction estimating experience

Compensation

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
