About the Opportunity

The Data Migration Specialist supports business software implementation, maintenance, and optimization with a primary focus on data migration, system configuration, and end-user support. This role ensures data is accurate and reliable, business applications function effectively, and users receive timely technical assistance. The position contributes to operational efficiency and successful adoption of technology across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Support software implementation projects, including data preparation, imports, validation, and system configuration.
• Review, clean, and correct system data to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
• Analyze workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and user experience.
• Provide Tier II helpdesk support by troubleshooting application issues and resolving software problems.
• Manage helpdesk tickets and ensure requests are addressed within established service-level expectations.
• Escalate complex technical issues while maintaining clear communication with affected users.
• Assist users with system navigation, functionality, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Support testing of system enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and bug fixes.
• Collaborate with developers, vendors, and internal teams to implement system improvements.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Support audits and reporting related to system usage and data quality.
• Maintain documentation related to system processes, configurations, and data migration activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Business Applications Administration or a similar role.
• Experience with enterprise business systems, ticketing platforms, or operational software preferred.
• Experience with data imports, spreadsheets, reporting, or system configuration is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple helpdesk requests and projects effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and process consistency.
• Understanding of software implementation, system integrations, and data management.
• Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Willingness and ability to learn new systems and business processes.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

Pay

• Base salary range: $57,000–$92,000 annually.
• The posted range represents the anticipated hiring range and reflects applicable pay transparency requirements.
• Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, skills, education, internal equity, geographic location, and market conditions.
• The range represents base salary only and excludes bonuses, commissions, overtime, and benefits.
