About the Opportunity

The Data Migration Specialist supports the strategic implementation, continuous maintenance, and functional optimization of core enterprise business software systems. This role focuses heavily on complex data migration workflows, administrative system configuration, and dedicated Tier II user support. By ensuring meticulous data integrity, smooth system functionality, and rapid issue resolution, this position directly contributes to seamless operational workflows, reliable field-to-office reporting, and high organizational user adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate large-scale software implementation cycles, including data cleansing, extraction, automated imports, validation formatting, and system configuration
  • Carry out regular data integrity audits to review, normalize, and correct legacy system data, maintaining high accuracy and relational consistency
  • Collaborate actively with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical system solutions
  • Analyze operational workflows and system utilization patterns to improve software efficiency and the overall end-user experience
  • Provide specialized Tier II helpdesk support to resolve advanced application issues, integration errors, and intricate user inquiries
  • Maintain systematic monitoring of incoming internal helpdesk ticket queues to meet or exceed established service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Escalate complex software bugs or environment failures to developers and external vendors while maintaining transparent communication with end users
  • Train and assist corporate and field users with complex system navigation, advanced functionalities, and custom report generation
  • Execute rigorous User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements, major version upgrades, external API integrations, and bug fixes
  • Monitor day-to-day software performance metrics to identify structural optimization and system modernization opportunities
  • Support internal compliance audits and generate administrative reports related to software usage patterns and security protocol alignment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Administration, or a closely related quantitative field preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year of progressive professional experience in a Business Applications Administration, Data Analyst, or closely related technical systems support role
  • Prior hands-on experience navigating enterprise business applications (ERP, CRM), modern IT ticketing platforms (such as Jira Service Desk, ServiceNow), or heavy industrial operational software
  • Functional proficiency with ETL workflows, bulk data import/export utilities, advanced spreadsheets, and system-level configuration parameters
  • Strong analytical mind with a proven ability to perform root-cause analysis on data discrepancies and software errors
  • Excellent multitasking skills to successfully manage multiple high-priority helpdesk requests alongside structured project milestones
  • Meticulous attention to detail with an uncompromised focus on data precision, mapping logic, and validation rules
  • Foundational understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), API integrations, and modern relational database management concepts
  • Clear, empathetic communication skills capable of translating complex technical limitations into simple business terms for non-technical users
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs, index-match functions, data parsing, and pivot tables)
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience handling data migration pipelines or systems integration tasks in a legacy-to-cloud infrastructure transition, basic familiarity with SQL querying, scripting, or relational data schema concepts

Pay Range and Compensation Package

The target baseline salary framework is $57,000.00 to $92,000.00 USD annually. Final salary placement within this tier is calibrated dynamically based upon the candidate's geographic market location, technical database/Excel depth, system administration experience, and educational background.
