Data Migration Specialist
Position Responsibilities
- Partner with corporate and regional stakeholders to align on transition timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
- Develop, manage, and communicate detailed project plans and deployment schedules.
- Cook up closely with hotel leadership to ensure readiness for system implementation and adherence to timelines.
- Support change management efforts by guiding stakeholders through system transitions and best practices.
- Collect, review, and validate hotel configuration data in alignment with standards and system requirements.
- Support the build and deployment of Opera Cloud and CRS environments.
- Aid with data migration activities to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Serve as a key liaison between hotels, internal teams, and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in regular project meetings to track progress, address risks, and resolve issues.
- Act as an escalation point for system-related questions or challenges during and post-implementation.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, training, and deployment efficiency.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices across the implementation team.
Experience And Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of hotel operations experience, with exposure to multiple functional areas preferred.
- Hands-on experience with, including Opera Cloud, CRS, and Sales & Revenue platforms.
- Experience working across multiple hotels, brands, or geographic regions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
- Experience in system implementations or change management initiatives.
- Strong technical aptitude and comfort working with hospitality technology platforms.
