Data Management - Data Analyst - Sr
About the role
Location: McLean, Virginia (alternate location: Richmond, Virginia). We are seeking a Data Analyst to support an integration program relating to Risk Management. This role is on a Data Product team responsible for delivering data products that support Anti-Money Laundering (AML) modeling and investigative teams. The Data Analyst will be responsible for identifying authoritative data sources, conducting data profiling and mapping activities, establishing data controls, and supporting the creation of enterprise data products. This individual will work closely with Product Managers and Data Engineers to ensure data is properly understood, sourced, governed, and delivered for consumption by AML stakeholders. This is a data-focused role suited for candidates with experience in data management, profiling, mapping, and enterprise data ecosystems.
Ideal Candidate Profile: Successful candidates will demonstrate experience working with raw enterprise data assets and will understand how data moves across systems and supports business processes. Candidates should be comfortable identifying data sources, analyzing data quality, building controls, and partnering with engineering teams to deliver trusted data products. Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to Tableau development, Power BI reporting, dashboard creation, or Business Intelligence reporting without meaningful data management, profiling, mapping, or governance experience may not be a strong match for this opportunity.
