About the role
This position supports a key enterprise initiative within the financial services sector focused on modernizing core transaction processes. The Data Management Analyst plays an integral role by applying expertise in data governance and strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise data governance frameworks, standards, and procedures.
- Establish and oversee data ownership, stewardship, and governance operating models across multiple data domains.
- Drive the enterprise adoption of data management practices, including data quality, metadata management, and lineage.
- Facilitate governance forums to resolve data-related risks, issues, and strategic decisions.
- Partner with business, technology, risk, and compliance stakeholders to ensure alignment with regulatory and governance requirements.
- Provide strategic leadership and subject matter expertise on data governance and enterprise data strategy.
- Influence enterprise-wide decisions regarding data standards, quality expectations, and governance controls.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on data-related risks and opportunities.
- Promote a culture of data accountability, quality, and responsible data management.
- Ensure governance requirements are embedded within Agile delivery processes and product development lifecycles.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success and strong knowledge of data strategy.
- Experience with data modeling, data domains, and data governance.
- Ability to identify needs, create, and define customized reports.
- Capability to perform complex analysis to examine digital requirements.
- Proficiency in data mapping.
- Experience with AI usage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Analytical problem-solving skills.
- Experience with data lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of the banking domain.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The role is based in Columbus, OH or Charlotte, NC and is currently an onsite position.
