Data Lead — Data Governance

What's the Job?

Lead current-state assessments of existing data management processes, tools, workflows, controls, and governance practices.

Conduct comprehensive gap analyses between current Master Data Management (MDM) capabilities and target enterprise Data Governance models.

Partner with cross-functional teams to define and develop a scalable data governance operating model aligned with business needs.

Support the development of business cases for implementing data governance solutions, including scope, value drivers, and phased roadmaps.

Create detailed documentation of data ownership, stewardship responsibilities, approval workflows, and governance checkpoints to ensure compliance and auditability.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree with 8 to 10 years of experience in data management, data governance, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of data governance concepts such as ownership, stewardship, workflow, approvals, and data quality.
• Experience supporting or implementing enterprise MDM/MDG platforms; SAP MDG experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP data processes across domains like material, manufacturing, logistics, and quality operations.
• Prioritize proven ability to conduct current-state assessments, gap analyses, and develop strategic roadmaps for data governance initiatives.
