About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst Lead (BSA Lead) to support Enterprise Data Warehouse initiatives and help drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, product owners, data teams, and technology partners to deliver high-quality data solutions while ensuring alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing, business analysis, data mapping, and data governance, with experience working in Agile environments. Exposure to technologies such as AWS, Snowflake, DataStage, Python/PySpark, Infogix, and Data360 is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Lead requirements discussions and translate business needs into actionable solutions.
• Create, maintain, and validate source-to-target data mappings and data lineage documentation.
• Prioritize and manage work scope, including coordination of vendor SOW deliverables across multiple application teams.
• Drive backlog grooming, user story development, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Support Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) initiatives, including data integration, data quality, and data governance efforts.
• Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure successful delivery of data solutions.
• Promote best practices for data management, governance, and warehouse standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience within a Data Warehouse or Data Management environment.
• Hands-on experience gathering and documenting complex business and technical requirements.
• 1+ year of experience using SQL for data analysis, validation, and ad hoc reporting.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the Banking or Financial Services industry.
• Hands-on experience with data governance and data quality tools such as Data360, Infogix, or similar platforms.
• Strong expertise in data mapping, data lineage, and metadata management.
• Understanding of Enterprise Data Warehouse architectures, best practices, and standards.
• Experience working with AWS, Snowflake, DataStage, Python, and PySpark.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and guide other Business Systems Analysts.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and enterprise data management principles.
