About the role

The Data Integrity and Quality Control Analyst performs a variety of complex tasks, either independently, on a team, or in a project lead capacity. They design, organize, and conduct research and analysis of Attorney General's Office (AGO) legal case management databases to monitor program mandates, support date integrity/quality improvement initiatives, and analyze legal service effectiveness for state agencies of California.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, organizes, and conducts research and analysis of AGO legal case management databases to monitor program mandates, support date integrity/quality improvement initiatives, and analyze legal service effectiveness for state agencies of California.
  • Aids in the development of quality improvement and statistical measures, benchmarks, and reports for dissemination to staff, stakeholders, and executive staff using data management and analytical software, such as Microsoft (MS) Excel, and visualization/reporting software such as Cognos.
  • Analyzes AGO legal case management databases, such as ProLaw, to provide advice, assistance, and inform management of data integrity issues and uses data findings for issues.
  • Analyzes the most complex issues and makes recommendations to the Supervisor I, and implements decisions instructed by the Supervisor I.

Requirements

Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of progressively responsible experience in data analysis, database management, or a related field. Experience with MS Excel, Cognos, and other data management and analytical software is preferred.

Qualifications

Must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in data management and analytical software is required.

$6,031.00 - $7,547.00 A
